Have You Ever Said I Want To Be Rich
Posted July 20, 2010 under Motivational
What exactly is meant by the term rich? Do we all put the same value on a dollar? Can you have no money and feel you are rich or is it the money value that makes you Rich? Not everyone will see being rich in the say way or use it in the same context. I did a small survey and asked 10 people this Question “What does Being Rich mean to you? Here is the response I got.
Rod from British Columbia – “Money, lots of money. It’s not having to look in your wallet, bank account or credit card statement any more, ever.”
Joseph from Manitoba – “Freedom to do the things you love when you choose to do them. Napolean Hill puts it very well in the first chapter of Think & Grow Rich. He lists 12 things, I believe, that constitute riches. Money is only one of them and without the others, money means nothing. The others include health, peace of mind, etc.”
Terry from Illinois -I think that being rich is a freedom. That’s it freedom. Now to figure out how to be rich.
Larry from Kansas – “Money, Lots of money, millions of dollars, fancy sports cars, big beach front houses, no travel restrictions. Nothing dictating when I have to get some sleep and more alarm clocks waking me up when I’m still tired. I would be rich when I had five million dollars in the bank, and everything else I want paid in full. Yes, I want to be rich”
Phil from Maryland – “Although I have never been really rich in terms of money, I have been richly blessed with family and with relationships. Now, with new opportunities, I foresee myself becoming rich monetarily as well as the result of services I am able to provide to help others. In one sense, being rich is simply a state of mind. In another, it means being able to do the things I want to do when I want to do them.”
Dee from Alberta – “The first thing that comes to mind is money but being rich means being happy with what have.”
Bobbi from Alberta – “Rich to me means having the resources to enjoy life to it’s fullest with my friends and loved ones.”
Joel from Ontario – “Choices and time freedom. It’s the ultimate way to live life, not having to worry about what you want to do, how much something costs, and you can always choose to do whatever you want tomorrow.”
The answer to the question what does being rich mean to you is defiantly in the eye of the beholder. It can mean anything from comfort and security to ultimate wealth. But in every answer I got money is defiantly at the root of it but the amount that is needed will be different for every person.
Now for the changes it takes to have the lifestyle you want, deserve and should have. You could go back to school but is a better job going to get you to where you want to be. Probably not! With the Internet now, owning and operating a home based business is easy. There are many business opportunities that will allow you to live the lifestyle you want when you say I want to be rich. My question to you is what is it you are doing to be rich?

Can The Science of Getting Rich be manipulated?
Posted June 24, 2010 under Motivational
Let me ask you a question, if so, why do we see a normal person who delivered newspapers at the tender age of 14 rose to become a billionaire? (I am talking about Warren Buffet of course!)
The way should have been properly cordoned off by the rich living in the area that a newspaper delivery boy should have never trampled upon the way, don’t you think so?
This proves that there is abundant opportunity for the person who is discerned enough to learn and understand the way. What keeps some away from the way is pure ignorance!
The universe has in store such abundance that everyone on earth can have more than enough of what they want and still be leftovers of supply of riches. No one is ever kept in poverty by shortness of the supply of riches, but nature has more than enough for all who live on the face of the earth.
No one can claim they are poor because nature is poor or because there is not enough to go around. Nature is indeed an inexhaustible storehouse of riches and the supply will never run short. Nature responds to the needs of mankind and it will not deprive the world of any good.
This is also true of mankind. Every race is made to be abundantly rich and if they are poor, it means that they are not following the way that nature has intended for them. And in some cases, a particular nation would be poor from generation to generation because no one takes an effort to learn the way. It is not something that is meant to be or predestined for the nation.
The universe constantly moves toward richer life and fuller functioning. We are not kept poor by the lack in supply of riches that God has allocated. If this is so, then God contradicts himself of the purpose He has for mankind.

What exactly is The Science of Getting Rich?
Posted June 6, 2010 under Motivational
The law simply states that those who do things according to the law, be it on purpose or accidentally, will accumulate riches while those who do not follow the law, although out of pure ignorance, will remain poor no matter how hard they work! Although this may sound unfair to some, this is how The Law of the Universe works. This proves the utmost importance of the understanding of the Law.
Let us clear the air of some common misconceptions and fallacies with regards to accumulating riches.
1)The environment that we live in is not the primary reason for getting rich. We are able to see rich and poor living side by side, in the same environment, and maybe working in the same job. This proves that getting rich is not primarily a matter of the environment. To think over further, it indicates that getting rich is the result of doing things in a certain way, according to the law mentioned earlier.
2)The talents that we possess are not the primary reason for getting rich. We can see all around us that many people who have great talents remain poor, and others who possess very little talents become rich. This shows that those who become rich do not accumulate riches solely due to their talents, but it is a result of doing things in a certain way, according to the law mentioned earlier.
3)Being thrifty in not the primary reason for getting rich either. We can see many whom we define as scrooge, don’t get very rich and those who lavishly spent become very rich. This proves that being thrifty doesn’t promise riches, but it is a result of doing things in a certain way, according to the law mentioned earlier.
Now that we have talked so much about the way, the thought arises in our mind as to whether this certain way might be so difficult to follow that only a few may be able to do so. If so then why do we see all around us the talented and less talented become rich, the smart and not-so-smart become rich, the physically strong and the weak become rich, those who were born wealthy and those who were born poor, both become rich. So this proves that there is a certain way that is simple enough, yet requires deep understanding that we can follow to accumulate riches.

Are you Waiting for Permission to be Rich?
Posted March 18, 2010 under Motivational
Thus begins the 1910 classic by Wallace D. Wattles called The Science of Getting Rich.
He goes on to say that for anyone to develop their talents, they need to have many things to use. And to get those many things, we need money to buy them.
“You can become what you want to be only by making use of things, and you can have the free use of things only as you become rich enough to buy them.”
If you’ve been waiting for permission to make tons of money, here it is. From words written in 1910 surviving through the decades to the present, we can now grasp the concept that not only is it desirable to be rich, but we need to be rich if we’re going to develop to our highest potential.
What level of wealth will it take for you to reach your dreams, your highest potential? Rich? Wealthy? Multi-millionaire? Filthy stinking rich?
They’re all good.
In The Science of Getting Rich, Wattles explains that there is a “certain way” to do things to become rich. “Those who do things in this certain way, whether on purpose or accidentally, get rich. Those who do not do things in this certain way, no matter how hard they work or how able they are, remain poor.”
The Science of Getting Rich is in the public domain. A search on the internet will find copies to download. It is well worth reading. And reading again. Even though the wording is somewhat antiquated, the principles remain the same through the ages. More than one great multi-millionaire alive today has used those same exact principles to build their wealth.

Wake Up, People! Abundance is All Around Us
Posted February 18, 2010 under Motivational
At a recent retreat I attended, I had one of my famous ‘Wake up, Alice’ moments from David Neagle. He was speaking about creating and tuning into the abundance that is in our lives already.
Have you ever noticed how we can get so fixed on how something should look or how it is going to come to us that we don’t recognize it when it’s right there in front of us? Well DUH! That would be me. I was standing knee deep in it and could not see it. And the reason I could not see it was because I was so caught up in my story about how I was going to acquire it.
Let me give you an example of not being able to see abundance right before my very eyes. This past January, I set an intention to produce a six figure income in 2008. According to the Law of Attraction, you intend it, you have faith, and believe that it is on its way. Well, some of us just can’t leave well enough alone. We figure we have to tell God how it ought to be down to the minutest detail. Of course this isn’t true, but that’s what I was doing. Some of us control freaks take a little longer to get the IT part. I thought that all of my abundance had to come from one place – my business. And when some of it showed up in the form of real estate investment income, I did not even acknowledge it.
Guess what reared their ugly heads and made me wake up and take notice? Two long held limiting beliefs of mine from childhood showed up on my doorstep. The first belief was that abundance only comes to you if you work really, really hard. So in my mind, I hadn’t worked for the money I received through my real estate investments so it didn’t count. The second belief was that I didn’t deserve it because I hadn’t worked for it. I know it sounds ridiculous, but listen up folks, this is real. This is how we allow our old beliefs to sabotage us every day. This is how we let our stories limit our possibilities and keep us from living a fulfilled life. It was in that moment that I realized how those limiting beliefs had caused me to miss the beautiful abundance that already exists in my life.
What about you? How many times have you been standing in the river of abundance and missed it?
The thing about abundance is that it is all around us if we just stop, look, and listen to what is right there in front of us. Here are just a few of my examples of how abundance is showing up in my life daily:
• An unexpected gift from someone/somewhere that came at the perfect time
• An unexpected compliment from someone
• A beautiful sunny day that warms your face
• The sound of water coming from a fountain that soothes you
• The sound of a bird singing in the trees
• A beautiful picture that takes your breath away
• Surrounding yourself with mementos in your home that make your heart smile when you look at them
• Spending time with close friends, laughing and sharing stories
• Watching your child spontaneously exploring life
• Doing the work you love, with the clients you love
• Quiet time with your spouse or honey just hanging out
• The abundance that comes from just being grateful for the many blessings already in our life.
This week take time to breathe and drink in some of the abundance that already exists in your life. Write it down so you won’t forget about it on those days when you start to feel like singing the poor, pitiful me blues.

The 7 Characteristics Of Rich People
Posted December 24, 2009 under Motivational
1. No limited self belief
Rich people believe they are destined to be rich and there is nothing that can stop them from achieving that financial freedom goal. They will do whatever necessary to reach their goals including doing things that they dislike or taking on tasks that seem impossible to complete.
2. Recognize the importance of time
Rich people also recognize that time is their most important asset and a very scarce resource. They do not waste their precious time sitting in front of a TV watching soap operas or other entertainment programs like “Survivors.” They also know how to use the power of leverage to achieve maximum results with minimum efforts.
3. Seek out other people of higher social status
Many poor people only network with other people that are of the same status as them. They do not actively seek out other people who are wealthier. The rich people will do the opposite. They want to network and learn from others who are better and wealthier.
4. Expense as investment
To many poor people, the best way to manage money is to use less of it. However, rich people have a different viewpoint. To them, many expenses can be viewed as investments. By spending a certain amount of their money to acquire an asset or skill, they know they will get back what they spent in the future.
5. Strong self-confidence
Many rich people exhibit a high level of self-confidence that is often contagious. They are optimists and maintain a positive outlook at all times. Their confidence is not easily shaken by external factors.
6. Good money habits
While saving is a good virtue and habit, many rich people feel that it is not the best way to grow your money. Rich people will put a significant portion of their wealth in some kind of investment vehicles that give them a better ROI than a normal saving account. They also do not spend their money aimlessly buying things that have no real value such as lottery tickets.
7. Philanthropy
Many rich people are also great philanthropists. They frequently make charitable donations intended to increase human well being. A great example is Bill Gates who set up his own charitable foundation aimed at providing lifesaving health care products for the poorest part of the world.
Most rich people did not become wealthy overnight. They faced many setbacks and challenges to get to where they are today. To them, setbacks and challenges provide valuable lessons that help them find the way to great wealth as well as strengthen their ability to faced adversities in life.
To become rich you need to change your thinking and the Law of Attraction will do the rest.

Everyone’s Told You to Study Napoleon Hill -Yet How Can You Use His Book to *Think* and *Grow* Rich?
Posted July 23, 2009 under Motivational
And it’s true – I know almost all the top guys online and many of the best marketers in the world. I’m not aware of any of them who have read it fewer than a half dozen times. In fact they’ll tell you the more they read it, the more successful they became.
That’s my experience, too, especially once I read it from the standpoint of helping others master Napoleon Hill’s classic book from 1937 (I only use the Original Version, because it was changed many times over the years, even long after he died in 1970.)
The thing about “Think and Grow Rich”, as great as it is and as much as it can transform your life… the promise of the title has not been fulfilled for most people who’ve read the book.
In fact statistics I’ve seen say “Think and Grow Rich” has sold either 50,000,000 or 60,000,000 copies, depending on what your source is. Yet the book is widely credited with creating 1,000,000 millionaires.
Why not 50,000,000 or 60,000,000 millionaires? Why have fewer than 2% of the people who bought “Think and Grow Rich” been able to Think and Grow Rich?
The simple answer goes back to the fact that the most successful business people read it repeatedly and read it often.
For example, especially when they’re just starting to become successful, they keep it near them and read it at any breaks in the day – while they’re on-hold, waiting in an airport for their flight to leave, on the subway to and from work. They also listen to the audios of the Original 1937 Version while they’re driving.
Because it’s that constant reinforcement, over several weeks and months, that transforms how they Think, which then does result in them becoming Rich.
And, again, how rich they become is proportional to how often they study the book’s teachings and allow it to change how they think.
We know it takes most people three weeks to a month to make something a habit, and how we think is just a habit, too, the result of how we’ve become used to thinking. This is really “The Secret” to taking the wisdom in Napoleon Hill’s book and allowing it to deliver on its promise of making us rich.
Let’s look at it this way – most people have been trained to think of themselves as being the victim of circumstance and not having much power over their fate.
They’ve also been trained to lose interest in something and quickly move onto the next thing, so they don’t spend much time with anything and really benefit from any of it.
“Think and Grow Rich” isn’t meant to entertain you, although it will if you just read it casually. It’s meant to transform how you think, and it will if you use it the way Napoleon Hill intended.
Think about it. Your habits of thought, how you think, developed over a period of probably decades, and they determine all aspects of your life from how wealthy you are to how happy, how confident and how fulfilled you feel.
If you don’t have everything you want, right now, then how you think isn’t entirely supporting you.
Because as you know if you’ve studied “Think and Grow Rich” at least a half dozen times as the most successful people you respect, your life now is the exact result of your previous thinking.
You’ve heard the old cliche – and they become cliches because they’re true – “change your mind, change your life”. That’s the essence of how you will Think and Grow Rich.
The point of studying “Think and Grow Rich” six or more times is that continual exposure to this empowering wisdom will over time change your habits of thinking, replacing the old habits that no longer support who you are today. Instead, they build in you the habits of knowing and keeping in mind you have the power to create anything you want, and you have in the training the exact way of making it yours.
Once you’ve reached the “Thought Tipping Point” where the ongoing infusion of the Think and Grow Rich Philosophy has replaced your old habits of thought, then very quickly your life becomes better in all areas, and you start living the promise of the title.
That’s when you’ll Think and Grow Rich!

What Has Our Beliefs Got to Do With Financial Abundance?
Posted June 17, 2009 under Motivational
This is because your beliefs will determine the ACTIONS that you take, which in turn, affect the result you receive.
Your beliefs act as an unspoken but powerful message to the universe. It is like sending an energy-gram that tells the universe what you want to experience in your life.
If you then take actions that underscore your beliefs, you have cemented the likelihood of a specific outcome taking place in your life.
Are you desperate for more money? On the other hand, you might also be resisting it at some level. Check out these common prosperity-blocking beliefs:
1. You have to work hard for money.
Many of us were raised to believe that hard work is the only way to get ahead in life, so we’ve become accustomed to struggling for every penny we earn.
We resist the idea of getting something for nothing. As a result, we push away the great opportunities that come our way. If this describes one of your beliefs, you will need to first work on changing your perception that money can only come to you through hard work.
You need to embrace a more optimistic mind-set and convince yourself that good things come to those who expect them, not just those who work like a dog for them.
2. You don’t deserve a lot of money.
If you have an underlying sense of unworthiness, you will consistently tell the universe, “Thanks but I don’t deserve it!”
To any abundance that comes your way. You will insist that others need it more than you do, and you will feel guilty if you even consider accepting more money or anything good. What is the remedy then – simply LOVE. You need to learn to love yourself and develop the belief that you DO deserve good things in your life, including money. If others deserve it, why shouldn’t you?
3. There is only so much to go around.
This lack focus is usually given to us by our parents through colorful exclamations like, “What, you think money grows on trees?”. Over time, we learn to see lack more than abundance and such a focus ensures that lack will be most prevalent in our lives.
To shift this perception, you need only look around at the massive abundance in the world. Think about wealthy people you know, or famous wealthy people. Think about the many various ways they have attracted abundance into their lives, and ask yourself why wouldn’t it be possible for you too?
If you simply stop focusing on lack and instead strive to recognize abundance, you will see that there are limitless resources available for all of us.
These are just a few of the beliefs that block abundance. If you want to increase your financial abundance, you have to start thinking about your own beliefs about money. Confront them and start to change, and then take actions that will help carry those beliefs into physical reality.

Manifesting Abundance
Posted March 15, 2009 under Motivational
It is exactly that “want” that leaves people wanting for more. The Law of Attraction or manifesting principle states that “you attract the things that your mind or thoughts focused on”. By this law, your “wanting” of money or abundance makes you want it more, but you are not attracting or creating it at all. All you will succeed in “wanting” is creating more of the same feeling.
Now this law is a natural law. It is part and parcel of the workings of the universe and therefore it will always apply to you whether you want what you are manifesting or not. This is not new and I am sure you’ve heard about all these before. If you haven’t heard of this, you might have applied this before albeit unconsciously.
As I have said, money or abundance is scarce in our reality because we have accepted it as such by witnessing hardships & financial problems over the years. This way of thinking is already like a habit. Habits are already automatic actions and unconsciously done. However, you can use the manifesting principle cited above to consciously attract abundance to you in the same you have unconsciously attracted scarcity. Just turn it around!
Yes it is easily said than done, but it can definitely be done. Overturning this “pauper mindset” as I call it is not just going to take a day or two. Years of living with it has ingrained it into our subconscious. It is going to take a strong & determined will power to overcome its hold in your psyche. The single most important step you can do right now is to make a firm a decision to ACCEPT THE ABUNDANCE THAT IS RIGHTFULLY YOURS. You can say it out loud right now (just don’t let anybody hear you, they might think you’ve gone over the edge!). Say, “I ACCEPT THE ABUNDANCE THAT IS RIGHTFULLY MINE!” If this is the first time you have done it, it is going to sound embarrassing. Just repeat the affirmation as many times as you can. Say it out loud and start with pretending that you really believe it.
Here are other things you should try:
1. Aside from saying out loud your affirmation, write it down, draw it, make a symbol of it and carry it around. Be specific. Be positive.
2. Visualize money in your hands or in your wallet as if you are holding it already.
3. Do meditation & self-hypnosis. During hypnosis, the mind which is always full of haphazard & clashing thoughts is tamed down. During this time, it becomes more receptive to the ideas, like your affirmations, that you introduce to it.
4. Pretend as if there truly is abundance in your life right now. No, I am not saying you have to live beyond your means or spend unnecessarily. Start by giving thanks for whatever blessings you have right now, including the ones you take for granted because it is always there, like air or the beauty in nature. Make a habit of giving thanks for the smallest goodness or kindness you have received.
5. Make a habit of reading motivational books daily.
6. Act!
7. Even if you have successfully manifest abundance, continue affirming, meditating and reading motivational books.

The Science of Getting Rich: How can the mankind create riches from the formless substance?
Posted December 23, 2008 under Motivational
A thought of a form can induce the formless to move gradually to take the form. This proves the power of our mind! Napolean Hill explains this very truth in his best-seller “Think and Grow Rich”. All of us are a thinking centre and can initiate thought.
Now, how exactly does the thought cause a formless to take a form?
Let us take the world’s architecture marvel, The Al Burj of Dubai, It is the world’s tallest building, at 2,620 ft.
Did the universe provide all that is necessary for the building to take shape 10 years ago?
Yes!
Then why wasn’t it built 10 years ago?
Simply because someone never thought about it 10 years ago!
When a person has a thought-form, he would then take the necessary materials from the nature and create it into the form that he conceived in his mind. A formless thing now has taken form according to the thought. Notice that the nature has already provided all the necessary resources to form anything that the human mind can conceive. Got the picture?
We are, by nature, co-creators with God himself. When we know how to communicate our thought to original thinking substance, we can cause the creation, or formation, of the things we think about.
Now, how does this relate to the way that leads to riches, which is the essence of The Science of Getting Rich?
A person’s way of doing things is the direct result of the way he thinks about things. You need to first think the way you want to do the things. This is the first step towards accumulating riches.
Having said that, our thinking might be influenced by the things that we see around us, hence our ways would be influenced by them. It would be far easier for us to think about the things that the appearance suggests than to think about the things that we really want to think.
For example, by looking upon the appearances of poverty will naturally produce the corresponding forms of poverty in our own mind. If the world goes through an economic turmoil, as it is right now, our thought would naturally be inclined towards the thinking that it would be next to impossible for us to get rich in times like this. But to think the positive and riches when surrounded by sheer negativeness requires power, but whoever acquires this power becomes a Master Mind. That person can conquer fate and can have what he wants!
How can we do this?
By firmly understanding the fact that there is one thinking substance from which and by which all things are made. When we deeply understand this and get it into our subconscious mind, we lose all doubt and fear, for we know that we can create what we want to create, we can get what we want to have, and we can become what we want to be!
