The Science of Getting Rich: How can the mankind create riches from the formless substance?

Posted December 23, 2008 under Motivational

The Science of Getting Rich teaches us that “Every tangible substance and process that we see in nature is the visible expression of a thought in original substance”. The formless substance was brought into form through the thought process.

A thought of a form can induce the formless to move gradually to take the form. This proves the power of our mind! Napolean Hill explains this very truth in his best-seller “Think and Grow Rich”. All of us are a thinking centre and can initiate thought.

Now, how exactly does the thought cause a formless to take a form?

Let us take the world’s architecture marvel, The Al Burj of Dubai, It is the world’s tallest building, at 2,620 ft.

Did the universe provide all that is necessary for the building to take shape 10 years ago?

Yes!

Then why wasn’t it built 10 years ago?

Simply because someone never thought about it 10 years ago!

When a person has a thought-form, he would then take the necessary materials from the nature and create it into the form that he conceived in his mind. A formless thing now has taken form according to the thought. Notice that the nature has already provided all the necessary resources to form anything that the human mind can conceive. Got the picture?

We are, by nature, co-creators with God himself. When we know how to communicate our thought to original thinking substance, we can cause the creation, or formation, of the things we think about.

Now, how does this relate to the way that leads to riches, which is the essence of The Science of Getting Rich?

A person’s way of doing things is the direct result of the way he thinks about things. You need to first think the way you want to do the things. This is the first step towards accumulating riches.

Having said that, our thinking might be influenced by the things that we see around us, hence our ways would be influenced by them. It would be far easier for us to think about the things that the appearance suggests than to think about the things that we really want to think.

For example, by looking upon the appearances of poverty will naturally produce the corresponding forms of poverty in our own mind. If the world goes through an economic turmoil, as it is right now, our thought would naturally be inclined towards the thinking that it would be next to impossible for us to get rich in times like this. But to think the positive and riches when surrounded by sheer negativeness requires power, but whoever acquires this power becomes a Master Mind. That person can conquer fate and can have what he wants!

How can we do this?

By firmly understanding the fact that there is one thinking substance from which and by which all things are made. When we deeply understand this and get it into our subconscious mind, we lose all doubt and fear, for we know that we can create what we want to create, we can get what we want to have, and we can become what we want to be!

How To Live a Life of Abundance

Posted December 8, 2008 under Motivational

They say if you want more you need to give more. It seems quite a contrarian kind of though but its amazing how true it is. It seems that those who live in scarcity have a mindset of scarcity. They tend to then act out that sense of not enough by controlling, withholding and holding on to what little they have. This might be material possessions, money or it could be their time. We all have seen people who live with this scarcity mentality, they penny pinch. They save and live frugally.

However what is strange is that these very people on the whole are never really living in any financial abundance. It would seem that the very lifestyle they are embracing is the very lifestyle that locks them into the lack and scarcity.

So if you want to live a life of abundance you first have to do the opposite of those who live their lives of scarcity do. So how do you go about living a life of abundance.

The first thing you have to realize is that the world doesn’t operate with limitations placed on us. If there is limitation in your life it has been created and kept in existence by you. You are the only person that has the capacity to place limitations on yourself. Sure other people may suggest the thought into your life but it is you that can determine whether you keep it and take ownership of that limitation or rise above it and set a higher standard for your life.

If you notice people who are living in abundance and prosperity you will notice that these people are givers. You need to have a giving spirit. The reason why people who live in scarcity hold onto their money so tightly is because they believe that it is a limited resource, that the pie is only so big so to speak and once you have taken out your slice then there is only so much pie left. That’s not how people who live in abundance see it. They see that as you help others, then the pie gets bigger and each person actually shares in a bigger slice. If the world was a finite resource and there is only so much to go around then why is it that the share market over any previous decade in time keeps breaking new records with its indices. If the size of the pie was fixed then wouldn’t the stock index be a fixed number and the distribution would just change each year between each of the companies listed in the index. But companies keep growing, they create new markets and as competitors grow innovations drive the economy further and the pie enlarges for everyone. That is not to be confused by the fact that wealth is distributed evenly.

But we have to realize that the more we give of ourselves, the more we give of what we have be it finances then the more we receive because we then start to approach life as though we have unlimited resources and a sense of abundance. As we believe with conviction in our minds and that which we focus with intensity so it is confirmed in our lives and more abundance will start to show up more often in everything we do. The concept of tithing is a great thing, its most common in a religious setting whereby you give away generally around 10% of what you earn to the church. But this concept can be duplicated in other areas other than the church if you are that way inclined.

Why not start the habit of giving today by donating 10% of what you earn to a charity you believe strongly in or a community organization in needs of funds. You will be amazed at how great you will feel and the sense of contribution in your life will start to manifest in so many positive ways. You will start to appreciate the blessings you have in your life and no longer be controlled by your money but instead you control it. You will experience a sense of freedom and abundance that you will not realize could be possible.

A Journey to Personal Riches

Posted September 29, 2008 under Motivational

“Spend money under direct inspiration wisely and fearlessly, knowing that your supply is endless and immediate.” -Florence Scovel Shinn

When you form your desires and dreams around a spiritual rule or spiritual value, that is, with strong faith and belief behind it, you tend to bring about that which is already on its way to you. It forms first out there in the universe as your idea, and is then manifested for real in your life. Can you see how your desires, dreams, and riches can come true? It works like magic!

Your journey to riches becomes closer each time you take a small step toward making it happen. Use your mind as the mechanism that propels you in the direction of your dreams. Find like-minded successful people, follow their lead and expect to become successful.

Never plant the seed of fear in anything you wish to accomplish. When the fear of success holds you back from seeking the riches you deserve, try developing a different mindset. A mind that is

healthy, spiritually strong, and grateful is a remarkable force that will continuously guide you in the direction you are to go.

In order to reach your journey to riches, you must be aware of what you ask for and be prepared to accept what you receive. Holding this awareness and true belief in your mind is what creates riches. It must become your passion. Create your vision of where you wish to go and how you will get there. Then confirm the paths and actions you must take. When necessary, ask for the

help you need and the tools to help you get there.

Develop your faith to a point where it is the only feeling that will sustain you on your journey. The more powerful it is, the faster your riches will come your way. Whenever you experience riches coming to you, find ways to give part of it to others. This keeps the riches in circulation and more coming back to you.

Your journey to riches also includes the following values:

1. Happiness – You must not put others wishes for you above the wishes you have for yourself. Your well-being is the only honorable way to live. It guarantees your survival and the ongoing relationship you have with others. Likewise, you must not make others sacrifice their happiness for yours. There must be a sense of balance in the give and take of your wishes and

those of others.

2. A Desire – What are you passionate about? Follow that dream and you’ll be well on your way to your riches. Without a feeling of passion or desire for that which you wish to accomplish, it is nearly impossible for it to come true. And – your desire must have a productive purpose in your life. What is the purpose for that desire? Why do you wish it to come true? Otherwise, it would only be a “pipe-dream,” a fantasy or, an unreal goal. If it’s something that is unrealistic and beyond your reach, it may not happen.

3. A Reason – Examine your values. How are you running your life? Is what you’re doing now serving your highest moral and spiritual purpose? Does it create happiness? Does your

happiness, desire, and your reason provide you with a sense of well-being?

These are the emotions and values you must place uppermost in your mind. Learn what makes you happy and think of what it means to you to experience it. Then continue pursuing it to completion only if it’s for the good of yourself and others. These values are the reasons to seek riches or any other desire. Based on your judgment of is valuable to you, be clear on what you feel is your reason. Then live by those values.

On your journey to riches, do the best you are capable of doing. Strive to be healthy, happy, and giving. Do not be satisfied with anything less. When you have a desire to be more then you are, you are deserving of more and will become more. You will be moving toward a higher consciousness that will lead to your highest good. Go for it!

The Awakening Course: Attracting Wealth, Health, Happiness And Love

Abundance Can Be Yours!

Posted September 26, 2008 under Motivational

What does abundance mean to you? Wealth, money, success, love, health, fame? Maybe all of these?

Abundance can be yours. It’s not limited to just a few lucky people whom life appears to have smiled on.

So how do you attract abundance into you life? By finding out what you are doing to prevent yourself from experiencing the successful and joyful life that you so richly deserve. Once you identify the negative thoughts and feelings that block your prosperity you can then methodically eliminate these internal barriers.

Abundance is everywhere. You are surrounded by abundance. An abundance of love, joy, money, and health is readily available to anyone willing to accept them. Any lack in your life is because you are limiting your thoughts and feelings, still maintaining your old self image of what is correct and comfortable for you. What you receive in life is directly controlled by the limits you place on your emotions, behaviors, thoughts and actions.

Where did these internal limits of yours come from? From your early training, from the experiences you had when you were very young. You observed everyone around you, especially your parents, and you learned to think the way they thought and to feel the way they felt. That’s the way you learned to survive in your family, which was the most important task in your life at that time. You now carry inside your mind these same feelings and thoughts regarding wealth, prosperity and abundance.

Fortunately you do not have to accept these limits. Information about attracting wealth and prosperity is freely available in many places, particularly on the web. And the law of attraction says that the more you seek, the more information you will attract. Whatever you focus on will fill your life. Focus on prosperity now, and you will start the process that will lead you into a happier and more fulfilling life.

Abundance in your life is much more than material wealth. It involves everything in your life; your health, your relationships, your general well being. When you understand the principles and laws that govern abundance, you understand that you are not constrained by any external conditions. You can achieve great abundance regardless of what is happening with the economy or your present income, or any of the other circumstances in your life.

Your ability to create wealth, abundance, and financial freedom is based on your understanding of the universal laws that control your ability to turn potential into reality.

There is more to creating abundance than simply thinking the right thoughts and then sitting back to wait for things to get better. You must also give something of value, which means that you add to the well being of other people in the world.

Wealth, money, success, love, and health are all governed by your inner thoughts. This is a form of life energy. Once you understand how to participate in this flow of that energy you can actively create your desired reality. This is something that you learn with practice.

Some people find it helpful, especially in the beginning, to find a teacher to help them with the elimination of their prosperity barriers. This is something you might want to do. You will know instantly when you have found the right teacher for you, as this person will simply appear in your life when the time is ready.

The Science Of Getting Rich: 7 Principles From Chapter Five

Posted August 13, 2008 under Motivational

“Increasing Life”

It seems that in Christianity we go to extremes where riches are concerned. Depending on the denomination, money is outright evil and so some take a vow of poverty. This is no better than spending all of your time accumulating money.

Wattles makes the point throughout the book that we can only give to others what we ourselves have. Riches is far more than just money; it is about being rich in every area of our lives. A life not rich in mind, body, and spirit isn’t rich at all.

He further explains why we do need to get rich:

1. Get rid of the idea that God wants you in poverty.

If God wants us constantly in poverty, then why are most of the stories in the Bible about rich people? Abraham, Job, King David and Solomon. There is a long list. All were loved by God and all were deeply blessed by God.

If you look at the Garden of Eden, which God made for Adam and Eve, it was a beautiful place filled with more than enough. It was overflowing with good things.

My mother always told me that “actions speak louder than words.” God is very clear in the Bible. He promised the Israelites the promised land. He promised Christians a better life. He didn’t say it would be free of struggle, but it would be abundant.

2. The desire for riches is simply seeking to reach our full potential.

Recently a survey was done where the participants were asked how much money they needed to live. Once the bills were paid, and there was some money in the bank, most were satisfied with what they had.

Riches is far more than money. It’s about satisfaction in all of the important areas of our lives. These include health, relationships, as well as money. Most people aren’t afraid to die; what they want to know is that at the end of their lives they have lived, and they have lived life to the fullest.

3. The Universe desires for you to have everything you want to have.

Too many people today take the attitude that they will never succeed because of their race, sex, religion, or other factors. They get the idea that society is against them, the government is against them, and again, it’s the idea that they won’t succeed because of obstacles they believe they have no control over.

Those are simply excuses. Obstacles and struggles are something everyone deals with. It’s part of the universal human condition. It’s up to us to overcome our own obstacles.

The Universe is governed by rules, like Cause and Effect. Take a certain action, and you will get a certain result. Take actions that will make you rich, and you will get rich. You won’t just accrue a lot of money, you’ll gain all the elements of true riches.

4. Extreme altruism is no better than living for pleasure.

I use Hollywood as an example in a lot of my writings because the people in Hollywood are a perfect example of those who seem to have it all, and yet they are unhappy. Many of these people were not part of the popular crowd in high school, and in an effort to show everyone else they are somebody, they became famous. Becoming rich and famous didn’t quite have the desired effect they wanted.

Dreamy liberalism doesn’t either. This is nothing more than extreme altruism. Wanting to help those who won’t help themselves, or are too lazy to help themselves demonstrates a neediness in us to be in control.

There is definitely a right way and a wrong way to help others. Giving of yourself and not the money of others is the right way.

5. Getting rich is about having more so that you may help others more.

We can only give others what we have. If we have nothing to give, whether it’s love, money, or our time, then we can’t help others. The Bible tells us to love God and love others AS ourselves. We have to take care of ourselves first. This is a hard concept for most, especially Christians, to understand. Self sacrifice does seem more noble, but it’s not the way to truly help others.

6. Getting rich is not about competition; it is about creation.

This is something I see a lot of in internet marketing, and I also see it with those who are new to business. They don’t put the customer first. They’re not out to fill a need in the marketplace or make things better. It’s all about making money.

The problem here is that eventually others catch on, and it will destroy your business. Creation is about having something to offer the world that will make the world a better place.

7. Stop thinking that the supply is limited.

We live in a world where there is an ever expanding “pie.” Ideas are limitless. All of the ideas in the world already exist, but some of those ideas have not been dreamed of yet.

By believing in the limitless supply, there is nothing to hold you back. No obstacles you can’t face. All it takes is that one big idea, and you are on your way to true riches.

An Introduction To The Science Of Getting Rich

Posted July 10, 2008 under Motivational

I have read a lot of books on self help, success, and other topics related to personal growth. It wasn’t until I read “The Science of Getting Rich” that all I had read really started to make sense.

Although Rhonda Byrne, the author of “The Secret” says that “The Science of Getting Rich” is was one of the books she was influenced by, she missed some crucial points about what Wallace Wattles had to say.

1. The Science of Getting Rich is practical.

It’s not about thinking positive thoughts, and it doesn’t matter if you are a positive person or a negative person. This book is about getting rich first. It’s about following specific principles. It’s not about dealing with your baggage or changing your mindset in a way that you become a more positive person.

2. This is not a study of metaphysics, and you don’t need to know how it works to make it work.

It’s like using a computer. You learn how to use a computer, but you don’t have to know what hardware or software is in order to make it work. You also don’t need to know the internal workings of a computer to learn how to operate your computer.

3. Faith is a crucial part of the process.

The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

In order to make the “Science of Getting Rich” work, we first have to have faith. We have to believe something is true before seeing it come true. God won’t violate our free will. If we don’t believe, if we don’t have faith first, then what we want can’t become a reality.

This goes against conventional wisdom which says “seeing is believiing.” Wattles says you must first see it in your mind before you see it in reality.

4. To understand the underlying philosophy of the “Science of Getting Rich” you may read the writers he recommends.

Although Wattles doesn’t mention it, Wattles was a minister. He was Christian. He studied philosophy, as well as the Hindu religion. Wattles doesn’t say that much of the universal human truth outlined in his book is in the Bible.

What he does say is that you don’t have to study philosophy or Hinduism and its influence on Western culture in order to understand what he is trying to say.

5. It’s more important to read “The Science of Getting Rich” than to read the philosophy behind it.

Although reading the philosophy will help you understand how Wattles arrived at his conclusions, doing what the book tells you to do is the real secret to finding true riches in life.

Wattles approaches riches from the point of view of the mind, body, and spirit. We must satisfy all three areas of our lives to enjoy the riches we attain. If any area of our lives is out of balance, it will affect our happiness and create obstacles to our enjoyment of life.

6. The “Science of Getting Rich” is scientific not metaphysical.

I mentioned metaphysics earlier. Metaphysics is a branch of philosophy that examines the nature of reality. Wattles isn’t concerned with this. Wattles is concerned with how the rules of the universe operate and how to use those rules to become rich.

Whereas metaphysics deals with theories about reality, the rules of the universe have been tested and are a fact. This brings Wattles into the realm of science, with proven rules and processes that work. By applying these rules and processes to our lives, we achieve measurable results.

7. Action is crucial to success.

If you don’t take action, nothing will happen. Wattles says to read the book and do exactly what it tells you to do. Ultimately, this book becomes a blueprint for achieving what you want.

Ten Steps to Creating Abundance

Posted April 27, 2008 under Motivational

Abundance comes in many forms. We can be abundant in health, time, beauty and many other things, as well as having financial abundance. However, when you’re asking for or trying to manifest abundance (whatever area of your life you’re focusing on) there are a few little tips and tricks that can help you achieve abundance more easily.

1 – You need to think about and decide exactly what it is you want. It’s no good asking the Universe for ‘a lot of money’ or ‘a bit more time’. We need to be specific about what we’re trying to achieve. And we should be careful, too, that we don’t ask for something that is way beyond what we have now, otherwise having it may just be too much of a big step for us, and we may fail to manifest it because we don’t believe we can. When you’re deciding, be sensible about what you think you can achieve and then go just a little beyond that. (If you settle for what you think you can get, you may be selling yourself short.) Doing it this way, you will build your confidence as you see the smaller successes come and these will pave the way for even bigger ones in the future.

2 – You need to think about how you will know when you’ve achieved your goal. Your success needs to be measurable for you to know when it’s happened. Think about how you will measure your success. What will be happening in your life when your abundance has manifested? How will you feel? What will you be doing? Writing a short ’success statement’ down in just a few paragraphs will help you to be much more focused about what you want to achieve too.

3 – It helps too, if you write what you want down in the form of an affirmation. An affirmation is simply a short, snappy sentence, which you repeat to yourself as often as you think of it. Always make your affirmation positive, present tense and personal. Write it as if what you want is already coming to you and ask for what you do want, not what you don’t want. For instance, don’t say ‘I don’t want to be late’, say ‘I am getting earlier all the time’. If you have a special way of saying things or using words then use that. The more personal you can make it, the better. And no one needs to know it but you, so you don’t need to be embarrassed.

4 – Make a bright, colourful note of your affirmation on a small piece of card to keep in your purse or wallet, or somewhere you will see it often. Repeat it over and over to yourself in your mind, or out loud if you can, until it becomes a part of you. Use it as many times as possible throughout your day and then repeat it to yourself before you go to sleep at night. While you’re using your affirmation keep looking out for evidence that it is working too. Every time you get a sign, or when something happens that is in alignment with your affirmation, acknowledge it to yourself. This will help you to know and understand that your dream is coming closer and that, in turn, will enable you to remain much more positive while you wait for the outcome.

5 – Be open to whatever comes. Don’t limit yourself by thinking that there’s only one way to achieve your abundance. The Universe may present you with a new idea or an opportunity that you hadn’t even thought of. If something does come up, always ask your heart and follow your intuition. If it feels right to you, and if you can, then do it.

6 – Have a think about what having the thing you want will give you. Our ‘wants’ always have some emotional attachment behind them. Perhaps you feel that having more money would give you more freedom, or that having more energy would enable you to do more. What will having what you want will give you more of? Once you know, see if there’s another way that you can find to achieve that same emotion or feeling right now. Remember, like attracts like, so if you can give yourself what you want in some other way, you are attracting more of the same to you, which will help you manifest your desires even more quickly.

7 – Give freely of whatever it is that you want to receive. If it’s time you want, give your time to others. If it’s money you’re after, always put a small amount in the collecting tins you see. This way you’re telling the Universe that you’re already abundant in the things you want.

8 – Along the same lines, make a list of all the abundance you already have in your life and begin to express gratitude for it. Of course, what you have in your life might not be exactly what you want right now, but if you can express gratitude for even the small things, the Universe will send you more things to be grateful for. And being grateful will also help to reinforce your positive attitude, which will help you feel good, even while you’re waiting for your desires to manifest.

9 – Think about what could be preventing you from achieving your goals. If negative thoughts are getting in your way, take some paper and write at the top ‘The reason I can’t have what I want is…’ then fill the page with all the things that come to mind. That way, when you read it back, you’ll know why you’re not allowing yourself to have what you say you want. Then take another sheet and write ‘The reason I can have what I want is…’ This will reinforce once more your positivity and if you find that negative thoughts are still getting in the way, you can create some new affirmations to counteract them.

10 – And when your abundance does come, give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back and celebrate!

The Science Of Getting Rich: 7 Principles From Chapter One

Posted April 21, 2008 under Motivational

“The Right to Be Rich”

Many people, especially Christians, have a negative attitude toward money and its place in their lives. Money, like anything else, is simply a tool for getting things done. In this chapter Wattles states his case on what riches really are and why getting rich is the right thing to do.

1. Wattles defines riches as the full development of the mind, body, and soul.

In order to achieve this, a person must have money to develop these areas of his/her life. Money is a tool for developing completely in every area of our lives.

2. Success in life is about becoming what you want to be.

The end goal here isn’t money; it’s about fully developing ourselves to become everything we were meant to be. As I mentioned before, money is a tool to do that. The amount of money a person needs to do this will vary according to the individual because we each want different things.

3. Becoming rich isn’t about acquiring a lot of money.

There is nothing sinful about wanting to become what God created you to be. In order to do that, you will need money to acquire the tools. Money only becomes sinful when it is the end goal.

There is also nothing sinful about having money. As T. Harv Ecker said in his book, “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind,” money simply makes you more of what you already are. Good people who become rich will have the opportunity to do more good. Bad people who become rich will have the opportunity to do more evil.

4. We are more than just a body; each of us has a mind, body and soul.

Living fully means fully developing each of these three areas in our lives. In other words, to fully express ourselves, we need to fully express each of these areas in our lives.

5. Our highest happiness is found in helping those we love.

For Christians, this means loving God and loving our neighbor as we love ourselves. Giving to others makes us more complete. It satisfies a deeper longing to make an impact on the world and make the world a better place. With nothing to give, we are unable to fulfill our place in others’ lives.

6. There is nothing wrong with desiring to be rich.

This desire is about fulfilling our ultimate purpose in life. Each of us was made by God for a unique purpose. When we fulfill this purpose, we find the joy, peace, happiness and life that God has in mind for us.

7. We render no greater service to God and mankind when we become rich.

The reason is that it allows us to do more. We have a greater ability to make the world a better place. By having a negative attitude toward money, or rich people, we keep ourselves from doing good, from making the world a better place.

Part of obeying God is to become what He made us to be. It’s also about doing what He sent us here to do. Becoming rich leads to success, a success that is satisfying and helps us reach our full potential.

Abundant or Redundant: Where do You Live?

Posted January 12, 2008 under Motivational

Abundance…this word has become quite popular these days as one of the latest “metaphysical buzzwords”. “Creating abundance”, “manifesting abundance”, and “living the abundant life” are just a few of the abundance of abundant cliches these days.

All of these sayings are trying to convince us that this abundant Life is just out there waiting for us to step into it. So you may be asking the $50,000,000 question: “How do I do that?” Quite frankly, I’m not sure I have all the answers to that but I do have some ideas that I thought I might share with you. Actually, I have only one idea (”brilliant simplicity”…maybe the next great buzz-phrase?!!): Be ye not redundant.

There are 2 old sayings that come to mind around this redundancy theory. The first is, “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten”.

And the second is, “The definition of insanity is repeating the same behavior over and over again, expecting a different outcome.” You have very likely heard these before so let me give you my “rocket-science” version: If you want more and you’re not currently getting more with your current choices, then just do it differently. Amazing, huh??!! Many times simple and less IS better. In other words, don’t be redundant in living your Life.

Redundancy may be unconsciously (or consciously) attractive because of its predictable familiarity. If you’ve already done “it” then you are bound to be more comfortable doing “it” again. Comfort, predictability, and familiarity, however, may all be roadblocks to abundance. So perhaps the choice is whether or not you are willing to go out on a limb (by the way, that IS where all the fruit is!!) and take a risk into unchartered territory.

If you look back over your Life you will find numerous examples of your courageous risk-taking that lead to abundance. Many of these events took place when you were very young and were not conditioned to “play it safe”, but rather, you were in full exploratory mode.

Examples include your first spoken words and the abundance of conversations you have had since then; your first step and the endless transportation of your body ever since; your first bicycle riding experience and the countless hours (some of which included “no hands”) of cruising this earth on those two wheeled machines; and your first interaction with a stranger that has enabled you to meet numerous “strangers”, many of which are now your friends and loved-ones.

The concept and meaning of abundance is all about living Life to your fullest capacity.

Here’s the REALLY good news: You are wired for abundance. Take a look around and you will see that the three elements that you need the most are found in practically unlimited abundance: Light, water and food. Furthermore, a squirrel never frets about where it will find it’s next meal, nor does a tree concern itself with ever being without enough sunlight.

Don’t you think you are as important as these? They live in abundance, so why shouldn’t you??!! You have an abundantly brilliant mind and an abundantly creative spirit, both of which are waiting for you to use them abundantly. So why waste your gifts with the redundant? Here’s the short Nike-like version: Just do it differently!!

Here are a couple ideas to get you started:

1. Drive to work a different way everyday.

2. Read a magazine that you’ve never read before.

3. Talk to a stranger that you would normally walk past.

4. Write a letter to yourself with your non-dominant hand.

5. Get up extra early and stay up extra late.

6. Listen to music that you’ve never listened to.

7. Eat at a restaurant that you’d normally not go to.

8. Create a list of ten abundant affirmations for your Life and carry yourself through each day believing in them and acting from them.

9. Talk to your Higher Power more frequently.

If you want abundance, then give up redundance and just simply “do it differently”. You will be pleasantly surprised with your results.

Is There Such a Thing as Getting Rich Quick

Posted August 21, 2007 under Motivational

Knowing how to get rich is easy; knowing why you don’t just get up and do it is the hard part. Advice on how to get rich is everywhere. So how do we separate what is real from what isn’t? Is there such thing as getting rich quick? The truth is probably that there is. Like everything in life, it is only available to the lucky few. People who have brilliant ideas, at the right time, that have the right attitude and do what ever needs to be done to succeed. Even, when these kinds of right circumstances do exist, the path of getting rich can be full of hard work and sacrifice.

Here is the recipe on how to get rich:

Find something you love to do. Find a system of making money with it. Do it until you will be successful.

Sounds over simplistic? It is. Knowing how to get rich is easy, it is doing everything you need to do to get rich that’s hard. There is a chapter in Donald Trumps book “How to Get Rich” where we follow Trump with his 24/7 schedule for one week. You think you work hard to earn a living? Try being “on” all the time like most business people are.

Let’s look at some of the areas where people make a lot of money.

Business world is a first place we are going to look at. You can definitely make your self rich by developing a successful business. Relatively speaking that method can be very quick. Ultimately whatever way of getting rich you would choose, be it real estate investing or online trading or marketing, it will boil down to developing a business. All successful businesses have systems that they follow to make money, and those systems are the key behind their success.

There is two ways of developing a business system. One you can do it your self. This way is long and painful most of the time and is the reason why 3 out of 4 businesses fail in the first 3 years of operation. Two you can buy a system from someone who “cracked the code” for you. In other words get someone who is already successful to teach you what they know. This way is faster and increases you chances of success dramatically. To put it simply, you will not be able to succeed unless you educate your self.

Investing is another way of making alot of money. Just like in business, in the area of investing most people loose money. The reason most investing is so risky is as simple as lack of knowledge and sophistication on the part of the investor. There is definitely a way to make it big in investing. The success just like in business depends on the systems you employ in your investment strategy. And here again you can either develop the systems your self, or find someone who is already successful and get them to teach you what they know. The difference between investing and business is that you can’t build a successful investment strategy with sweat equity like in business. You can loose a lot of money in learning how to invest, so I suggest the “leaning from someone who knows what they are doing” route.

Winning a lottery works for some, but let’s face it, what’s a bigger chance – you winning a lottery or building a successful business with hard work?

Working hard for someone else … is not a way to become financially wealthy. People might disagree. But to become truly wealthy, where all your financial needs are met for the rest of your and your children’s life, is pretty much impossible while working for someone else. This method of saving pennies has to be combined with some form of investing or business to attain true wealth.

So should we forget about getting rich quick? No not at all, as long as we also keep in mind that becoming a millionaire is a process, unless of course, you are born a Paris Hilton. Most of us, however, do not have that privilege and have to make sacrifices on the road to success. Hard work and education are two keys that will ensure success in both finances and personal development.
